Jacob's ladder

Jacob's ladder is a yearly folk-music festival, with mostly Irish, US and UK folk music. You camp out near the sea of Galilee, and there are dozens of shows and gigs and fun stuff. This was the first time we've been there, and it has been a lot of fun.
We went with Mitzy & Shori, and Pulpulit and Julia (his GF).
I don't remember the names of the bands, but some of them were rather good.

Beside the music, we also did some nifty cooking, and swam in the sea, and just hang around.

Hula lake

Towards the end of the year, we went on a weekend with Mitzy & Shori to Matat (North Galilee, Israel). On the way back we visited the Hula-lake-swamp-mosquito-birds-park-thingy.

Turtles galore!
