Travelogue and Pictures from London, 2004

London

Finally, some London pictures. First we went to see a football Match. Chelsea (or Chelski, as it is now known after a rich russian bought the club. Go Russia!) against
Middlesborough. Quite a dull match, but Michal seemed to enjoy it a lot. Back in London, we saw a good gig - David Byrne supported by Jim White. It was excellent! both of them were great.

Chelsea's football stadium - my favorite stadium in london.
Another picture from the Stadium. Blue is the colour, Football is the game, Something something something, Chelsea is the name!
In the Tube, back from the Match (Left to Right) - Dad, Michal, Gur, unknown Brits.
The David Bryne show was in the Royal Festival Hall, in the south bank of the Thames. We took some cool pictures that evening...
Those neat little jubilee bridges...
The Big Ben. Classic. It's not so big (I'm sure there are bigger Ben's out there, if they only looked. And is there a 'Small Ben'?)
The London-eye is HUGE wheel, I got it at a good angle...
Sunset over the Thames... nice.
Michal (using her hard-earned artistic education) appreciates this unique blue square by a japanese artist, in the Modern Tate. I liked it too - it's blue!
They were showing some really-cool posters from Communist Russia. I managed to take this photo before they told me to stop...
I really like this photo, from the market in Petticoat-Lane (Notting-Hill). We searched for some items to 'Flog' but we didn't really find anything.
St. James park - a beautiful little piece of Green in London.
Weird little bird in St. James park. We took this photo so that Varda (Michal's aunt, and a renowned biologist) can identify it for us. Cool bird!

Hope you enjoyed this travelogue. I've got others!
