La Plagne - 2004 (And then London as well)

Ski!

Well, obviously we came for the ski. There's nothing quite like it - the best sport there is. La plagne is a very nice site, we really enjoyed it - both Michal (who did great!) and me. We stayed in Belle Plagne, a really cute little village, in Hotel Eldorador. Not the fanciest of hotels, but at least it had great location, and we could literally ski from our room! that was neat. When we arrived there wasn't much snow. Then it snowed for the 4 days we've been in la plagne - mostly during the night, so it's been great (the last day though was really foggy and it snowed all the time. It was still lot's of fun, really).
The way from Belle Plagne (our village) to BelleCote - the next village, just below...
Same place, on a more sunny day...
Here you can see BelleCote from above...
Arriving to BelleCote from Belle Plagne.
Cool picture, looks like a 'fish-eye' thingy, really.
Snow as far as the eye can see...
Great views, from way up in La Plagne.
This is a tunnel you ski through in one of the slopes. Cool! That's also my only picture from La Plagne...
Taking a short rest...
Nice picture, eh? This one won the LaMetayel ski photo contest, 2004. Lametayel is Isreal's biggest travel equipment store chain. We got pretty nice prizes for winning the contest...
Michal, in one of the restaurants on the slopes.
It sure snowed heaps...
Little kids skiing... Michal calls them little ducks (or is it ducklings?). They are so cute these kids!
Nice little picture, snow (or ice, really) on a roof of one of the buildings in bellecote.
