Our trip to Ireland

Glendalough

Set in the Wicklow county, Glendalough is a beautiful park, with two lakes and nice walkways and little tracks. I think it was the most beautiful place we saw in Ireland. There are some nice ruins in the lower part of Glendalough, too. We walked the 17km circuit of the upper lake (it was the white trail in their maps). We had a great day, with amazing sights.
On the way to Glendalough, Wicklow county.
The cemetery, near the entrance to Glendalough.
The upper lake, just before we started climbing.
Starting to climb up...
Most of the climb up involved climbing these stairs, in the forest. Lot's of stairs...
Rest of the weary...
Michal, above the upper lake (this is the highest point in the track, I think)
Nice view of the upper lake.
Yet another view of the upper lake...
Hey, a picture of me!
If you look hard, you can see some deer in there (no, really, I'm not lying!). Cute little things.
Would you believe that? a sheep in Ireland!
Back to the lake, there are some nice ruins of a miners village here.
