Nainital

From Corbett, we continued to Nainital - the peanut shaped lake city. It's really a beautiful little place, somewhat like Shimla - almost clean and civilized. The hotel was pricey, but we got great views.

The order of the day in Nainital is boat rides. Everybody has a boat, and everybody wants to take you to the other side of the lake.

We decided to be adventurous, and took a red dragon paddle boat. You only live once!

The second thing to do in Nainital is to take the rope-way (chair-lift thingy) and view the lake from above.
If you haven't seen Nainital from above, you haven't seen it at all.

I liked Nainital at night. Lake, hills, pink sunset, what more can you ask for?
