Irazu

From the Osa Peninsula, we went to the Caribbean coast, to Cahuita. On the way, we stopped at Irazu - a volcano, near San Jose. The mountain is something like 3500m high - quite big, and above the clouds.
The way to Irazu was beautiful - The central valley is quite pretty, when you stop and think about it.

Irazu is actually composed of several craters. One of them is filled with a really nice Emerald-coloured lake.

On the way down from Irazu, there's a restaurant with Thousands of business cards glued to the walls and ceiling. Crazy guys...

Cahuita

Cahuita is a cute little village, on the caribbean coast. There are nice beaches here. A good place to relax for a day or two.

Here's a nice picture of my feet (!), and also a good picture of Cauita's beach at night time.

One night, on a road inside Cahuita, we saw a Sloth crossing the street. It have to be the weirdest animal we ever saw (And if it wasn't for Ice Age, nobody would have heard of 'em). They are so slow! and rather cute, too.
