Interview in Digital Signage Today
Tuesday, July 29th, 2008I’ve been interviewed for an article on OLEDs, on the Digital Signage Today web site, which was nice. OLEDs are slowly getting mainstream, and hopefully OLED-Info will benefit

There’s a new boy in town - Google Knol. The knol (as in knowledge) is a wikipedia of experts. Anyone can write a knol on subjects that he knows about (for experts…). I gave it a try, and written a knol about OLED, and about AdSense. Check it out, it’s rather cool (and while you’re at it, give me a vote!).
Basically several people may write the same Knol (collaborative). The experts can also enjoy the AdSense revenue on the site. There might be several knols for a certain subject (unlike Wikipedia).
I’ve build a toolbar for oled-info. Now you can get all oled news, and links and all in your browser. I’ve built it using Conduit, which is a terrific platform for toolbars. Cool!
Check it out!
Yeah, I’m really into widgets now
So I made a widget for oled-info, with the latest oled news. It’s pretty neat. I used the widgetbox platform, which was dead easy to use, and can be installed in many places, including iGoogle, netvibes and facebook. Anyway if you wanna stay updated with oled news, get the widget here.
You can also embed the widget in your blog or web site.
“Sprayable” self-powered (solar) OLED displays? This is rather cool, isn’t it? On the other hand I sure hope the future will not bring us too much video and displays and annoying ads (minority report anyone?)
Check this out. A cool watch + mobile phone + camera (2Mb) + bluetooth + 512Mb + MP3/4 + OLED display. Geeky, but nice.
I just posted a really interesting interview with Fast2Light’s project manager. It’s a European research project, working on flexible OLED lights. I think it’s the most interesting interview I ever did, really gives good info.
The OLED lamp story (on oled-info) has been picked up by several big blogs - Engadget, EcoGeek and Gizmodo. It’s the first time I sent a story to these blogs, and it’s nice to see they used it, and gave credit to OLED-Info.
This is really cool - I got some nice traffic, and hopefully Google will notice the links as well
Check this out - the world’s first OLED lamp, and a beautiful design, too!
