Interesting Chinese SPAM?
Here’s an interesting SPAM scheme for you… I got a letter from china – someone who’s claiming to be the department of registration service. He said that a certain company is trying to get the Metalgrass.cn domain. The registration service have checked and saw the Metalgrass is a “brand name of Metalgrass Software”, and thus wish to alert me before agreeing to sell the .cn name. They just wanted me to say whether it’s okay to let the other company buy the Chinese domain. Nothing wrong with that so far.
So I answered, and said that I do not think the other company should buy the domain… and got back a letter saying I should purchase the domain myself, and thus it will be solved. Aha!
Sophisticated, eh? I almost thought about getting that domain indeed 
A few weeks later, I got the same letter about TripTouch…
