Abi? No! Abbie!!

Published by Ron Mertens under Personal

OK. It turns out that the most common nickname for Abigail is actually spelled Abbie and not Abi.
This of course changes everything (well, not really).
She’s still very cute, by the way. She started sleeping better at night- sometimes for 4 or 5 hours in a stretch. There’s nothing better than actually getting to sleep a [...]

Host gator turns green

Published by Ron Mertens under Environment, Web Sites

Great news – my host (Host Gator) is now green – the servers are wind powered (through purchased green credits). So if you’re looking for a host, that is a good reason to choose those guys (which, all in all, I’m quite happy with). Be sure to follow this link, so I can get referral [...]

Drupal multi-site

Published by Ron Mertens under Web Sites, Web technology

So off I went, and created one. For some reason I can’t post [...]

Abi is one month old!

Published by Ron Mertens under Personal

Well, one month and a day, really. How time flies! The day before yesterday she gave us her first smile. what fun!
Besides the fun parts, we realized it’s very difficult to have a small baby around. She almost always needs attention, and it’s hard to sleep at night in small intervals (she usually wants to [...]
