Still in Sofia

Here are some more pretty photos from Sofia. My dad says you must always try all the transportation options available. So we had to ride the metro a few stations and come back again to where we were. The trains and stations were excellent, by the way!

We sneaked into the science academy (or something like that) and went to take a look at the library. It was so small, with like 200 books in all. They organize everything with these small cards, perhaps I should sell them a license of Karteset. Least but not least, they seem to like LOTR, they made a statue of Saruman (or possibly some Bulgarian hero).

Vitosha

On the 2nd day, we went to Vitosha park, to do some ski. The amazing bit is that the ski lifts are about 5kms from Sofia's center. It's really cool. Up we went, I hired some skis and had a great day. Vitosha's ski area is small, but the snow was good, and there weren't many people around - no need to wait for elevators or bump into people.

The site was quite photogenic, and I got good photos.
